SUBMISSION CATEGORIES
Each submitted image must belong in one of the following categories (images will be reassigned to a different category if deemed appropriate):
Landscape
Depicting the beauty and diversity found throughout both the protected and unprotected natural landscapes of the world.
Wildlife
Depicting the diversity of animal species, their behavior and habitat, including endangered species.
Flora
Depicting the beauty and diversity of plants throughout the world, including endangered species and ecosystems.
Underwater
Depicting the beauty and diversity of marine or freshwater animals or plants, including inherent environmental/conservation themes.
Community at Risk
Focusing on environmental threats and issues particularly pertaining to our cities and urban areas, including humanity's positive and negative impacts.
Natural Environment at Risk
Depicting the threats facing the world’s natural environments and resources.
Documenting a Conservation Project
This special category seeks images that document a conservation project in which you, as photographer, are personally involved. Provide up to 6 images documenting the project.
Puget Sound at Risk
Special category depicting the environmental issues and humanity's impact on Puget Sound in the Northwest United States.
This category is sponsored by Puget Soundkeeper Alliance whose mission is to protect and preserve Puget Sound from pollution. www.pugetsoundkeeper.org
Student
Images from participants either enrolled full-time in school or under the age of 18 as of April 1st, 2010 that pertain to any of the above categories.
