Cynthia Hall

Cynthia, a Seattle-based Environmental Graphic Designer, has over 18 years of design experience. A visual communications expert and NW Chapter Chair for the Society of Environmental Graphic Design, Cynthia is a frequent guest lecturer at The Art Institute of Seattle. At Studio SC, Cynthia works with a skilled team of designers to create unique visual solutions that connect people with their environments. Cristina Mittermeier

Photographer and Conservationist

Cristina Goettsch Mittermeier is a Mexican-born photographer and marine biologist who for the past 20 years has been working as a writer and photographer. In 2005 she founded the International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP), a consortium of some of the best photographers in the world, whose work is dedicated to visually communicating conservation issues. She still serves on the ILCP board of directors. Arn Slettebak

Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture

Arn Slettebak got his start with museums in 1966 as an artist/preparator at the Chicago Academy of Sciences. He moved on to work as a naturalist/artist at a new county nature center where he was responsible for the design, construction and artwork of all exhibits and brochures, including mural painting.  He has been at the Burke Museum since 1972, where he has brought natural  history to the classroom via traveling study kits and live presentations, and to visitors generally via exhibits.  As an artist, Arn has worked in many media, including wood-carving, acrylic painting, and photography. He shares his love of nature with the public by leading bird walks for Seattle Audubon and the Seattle Parks Department, and by bringing nature into public schools on Science Nights. www.washington.edu/burkemuseum
